Prevent cancer and reduce cholesterol.
Tocotrienols are natural compounds found in select vegetable oils, wheat germ, barley, saw palmetto, and certain types of nuts and grains. This variant of Vitamin E typically only occurs at very low levels in nature.
Commercial sources of tocotrienols are rice, palm and annatto, whilst natural sources include rice bran oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, barley and wheat germ. Sunflower, peanut, walnut, sesame, and olive oil only contain tocopherols.
Tocotrienols are forms of natural Vitamin E that can protect against brain cell damage, prevent cancer and reduce cholesterol.
